so with endwalker coming i thought this would be a good time to move over to the pc version. i just have a few qestions. I know that the console and pc versions have different licences so i will need to buy the game again for pc, but does the steam version link up with existing mogstation accounts or will i need to make a new account or buy the game through SE directly?
Astroshak 6 years ago #2. Yes. All 4 clients (General PC, Steam, PS3, PS4) connect to the exact same servers. For some reason, Steam is considered a separate client type lol. PS3 users won't be able to play anymore once the next expansion is released (June 21 I believe). Just be sure to pick up a keyboard for the PS4.

Edit to properly answer: Yes, you can have two copies and pay only one sub. As long as you link your PC and PS4 accounts to the same Square-Enix account, you can play on whichever you feel like. You cannot play on both at the same time, and Hotbar and UI settings will not change back and forth, unless you do so manually.
